What is your favorite part about working for P&C?
The best part about working at P&C is the people. I enjoy the people that I get to work with daily, both clients and coworkers. I also enjoy the diversity that I see in our clients and the industry’s that we serve. This has allowed for me to gain a lot of knowledge in a short time over many different industries!
Choose your Mr. Men to describe your work personality.
I like to think that I am Mr. Funny, but I have been told I am not as funny as I think.
Describe what you were like at age 10.
At age 10 I was into a variety of different things. I enjoyed spending time outdoors and playing baseball and basketball. At this age I was able to name the Royals starting lineup every night from memory. I was also a member of a local 4-H club where I showed sheep at the county fair.
If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
My last meal would be a ribeye steak with a baked potato, and for dessert a piece of cookie dough cheesecake.
If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is tough because I have many beers that I enjoy. I think if I had to choose just one I would go with the Boulevard Wheat.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is laziness. I am not a fan of things getting done halfway, I would rather things get done well the first time even if it takes a little extra time to get done. I take pride in my work and like when others do the same.
What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful city of OKC (besides coming to work every day)?
My favorite thing to do in OKC is to try new places. I have only been living here for about 7 months so I have not even scratched the surface of what this city has to offer. I live in an area that is growing rapidly so I have enjoyed trying all of the new restaurants that have opened and continue to open!
What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is snakes no doubt. I do not care if they are 6 inches or 6 feet I will not go anywhere near them.
What is the first concert you attended?
My home town used to put on a music festival every year so I got to see a lot of cool concerts. The first one I saw was Tim McGraw, and it has remained one of my favorites.
What is the greatest challenge you have had to overcome in your life thus far?
I think that the greatest challenge I have had to overcome is learning how to become more extroverted. When I look back I was very quiet when I was younger and did not put myself in many uncomfortable situations. In middle school my family moved and it took time for me to adapt and become comfortable in a new environment. As I progressed into high school I began to realize that this was a skill set that I needed to develop further. This then pushed me to going to Oklahoma State where I would be in many more of these new situations. Over my time there I was able to grow a lot and become more outgoing and this has been a tremendous asset as I have started into my career.
