PHIL BROCKHAUS, CPA, CGMAMANAGING PARTNER

Phil Brockhaus, managing partner, is a 1969 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and received a Masters of Business Administration from OU in 1970. He joined the firm in 1971, and was admitted as a shareholder in 1980. Phil has extensive accounting, auditing, and income tax experience with non-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans, and in the manufacturing, oil and gas, retail, wholesale distribution, and dealership industries.

Phil is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member, and past chairman, of the OSCPA Continuing Professional Education Committee, past chairman of the OSCPA Peer Review Committee since its creation in 1989 and the OSCPA Education Foundation, and is a past president of the OSCPA. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Accounting Hall of Fame in 2017.

Phil is a member and past treasurer of the board of trustees of the Norman Firehouse Art Center, past treasurer of the Oklahoma Jaycees, a member of the Leadership Norman Alumni Association, a past member of the Norman Parks and Recreation Board, and a member and past president of the board of the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma. He is vice chairman of the board of advisors of the OU Steed School of Accounting.
